General installation recommendations
FOR SHINGLES

The only way to ensure proper temperature and moisture regime of the roof is to install integral steam insulation, adequate thickness heat insulation (selected according to the region), wind insulation and ventilation space under the roof.
The same roof cannot be covered with product of different color codes or different production dates.
A small deviation in color of the tiles is not a defect. It is typical of flexible tiles of any producer. In order to reduce color difference during instalation it is recommended to mix tiles out of 5-6 packs at random. The tiles should be installed in diagonal lines.
It is necessary to heat the adhesive bottom side of the tiles with an industrial torch when the roof instalation works are performed at lower outside temperature. In order to avoid roof damage all the materials during roof installation should be cut on a special board.
In order to avoid shingle sticking to each other in a pack they should be protected from direct sunlight. Each pack should be bent and shaken before opening; this helps to separate the shingles from each other.
It is not recommended to walk on the roof in hot/sunny weather because the cover might be damaged. Special ladders should be used for this purpose.

ATTENTION:

Company Euronicol is not responsible for water leakages due to incorrect tile installation or improper preparation of the roof deck.

We strongly recommend to use wide headed (up to 15-25 mm long) nails to fix the bitumen shingles.

If you are going to put tiles at outside temperature lower than +15°C degrees, please preheat black sealing belt zones or use extra mastics to ensure waterproofing.
